April was another busy month filled with overtime. By the end of the month, I was definitely starting to feel some burnout since I had averaged 60+ hours/week for 8 weeks straight. It was a lot, but, luckily, that period is over and I can get back to a more normal ~50 hours/week. One special thing was that we did celebrate our first wedding anniversary! The year has flown by and I really can't believe it's already been so long.

Colleen Rothschild Beauty Creamy Oil Body Wash (Honey Vanilla) - This was actually a March favorite that I forgot to include. I can't tell you how long I've been looking for something like this. It's moisturizing while still being light. The scent is divine. It's the perfect spring/summer body wash. I love the bottle, but the pump drives me crazy because I was want it to output more. It's probably better though, so I don't use one whole bottle per shower. I've actually already bought 2 more bottles for back up.

Whiskey Cavalier - This is another March favorite that I forgot to mention. This is a TV show that you can find on ABC or Hulu. It's a light-hearted comedy spy show with actors I'm sure you've seen before. All of my other current favorite TV shows tend to be on the heavier side, so this is a really nice contrast. I really love how they focus on the whole team rather than just the primary characters. Also, it's from the creator of Scrubs, so of course I love it. I really hope that they renew it because I am fully invested.

Captain Marvel - I really enjoyed this movie. Way more than I actually thought I would. Brie Larson is a total badass plus she's just fun. I'll be purchasing this movie once it's actually out.

Dot's Homestyle Pretzels - My husband and I were walking through a local store, and he saw these and said we HAD to get them. Apparently, they had them once in his office and everyone went crazy for them. I went along with it, but I was really expecting just some regular pretzels. I was so wrong. These are amazing. They are pretzels, but what really makes them so special is their seasoning. I want to buy just the seasoning so I can put it on everything. Beware, it's addicting.

Felix Gray Faraday Glasses - I spent all day on the computer. I work on the computer and all of my hobbies are on the computer. But I also lead a team with a bunch of people in Europe, so I need to be up early. I finally tried out these blue light blocking glasses and I am sold. It really feels like they do block the blue lights and help me fall asleep faster. I love the design of the Faraday glasses from Felix Gray. They feel super high quality without having a high price. I also really liked that Felix Gray offered prescription lenses for a very small increase. I wear these more than my Tom Ford eyeglasses. My constant gushing about the glasses convinced my husband to get his own. I love that we match.

Burberry Sandringham Cashmere Coat - This is such a beautiful piece. I first tried it on in Vienna during my honeymoon last year. At the time, I decided to pass on it then, but as soon as I was home, I regretted it. I couldn't find it anywhere though. Turns out they were updating their collection and came out with the coat again, but with an added fur collar. I hate everything fur, but luckily, it is removable. By some miracle, I managed to find a brand new one for an amazing price and took the plunge. I could not be happier. It's a classic style that will last for years. It's also way more fitted than most Burberry items. The cashmere makes it incredibly soft and comfortable. I will say that if you do order, I would suggest sizing up as it's particularly small around the chest area.

Favorites repurchases:

This is a new section for me. I thought about adding it in the last week of April, so hopefully next time I'll have more content. I just think sharing repurchases really shows items that I've loved for a longer period of time rather than just a more recent favorite.

Deborah Lippmann Addicted to Speed Top Coat - This is my go-to top coat. It dries fast, leaves a great sheen, and the brush is the perfect size/shape. It will end up becoming goopy if you don't use it fast enough so I tend to repurchase every six months. It's worth it to me though.
