It's finally fall! I feel like summer dragged on forever, but now the house is decorated, the candles are out, and cozy levels are off the charts. I spent August basically just preparing for September because I was so ready for summer to be over. A bunch of major sales happened around August (Sephora's and Nordstrom's), and most of my favorites came from those sales.

Clothes

Nordstrom Lingerie Moonlight Nightshirt - I had heard people rave about this, but it wasn't until now that I pulled the trigger and got all the sets in black (long, short, nightshirt). I love them all but like the nightshirt the best. The material is so soft and comfortable. I'll be picking more up during the next sale.

Natori Bliss Perfection Underwire Contour Bra - I also picked up this item during the Nordstrom sale, and it's become my new favorite bra. It's the closest I've felt to having nothing on while wearing a bra. It's a very natural feel with no lift. Super comfortable. Another item that I plan on picking up more of.

Beauty

Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Lip Balm - This was on the top of my list going into the Sephora sale. It did not disappoint. I got the mini lip balm trio version so that I could try all of the colors. The 'Flesh 3' color is my favorite and go to. The 'Blow Up' color is like my lips but better, so I also use that one often. The clear color is also nice, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing that one since I have other clear sticks that I like just as much for less. I'll definitely be grabbing the full-size versions of the other two though.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel - I love the Anastasia one, but the colors just don't work for me. They are either too dark or too grey. So I decided to try out the Charlotte Tilbury Eyebrow Gel, and I really like it. The color is much lighter and matches better. I also really love the spoolie on this one. It's smaller and I feel like a get a more precise application. My only complaint is that the longer side of the bottle isn't the side with the product. That's always a pet peeve of mine, but otherwise, the product is great.

Life

Food Trucks - We live in a community that has its own bar/community center, and they frequently bring in food trucks. A big favorite date night this month has been to walk down to the bar and check out the latest food trucks. Our favorites have been Ambedo Italian and 360 Arepas.

Taylor Swift Lover album - This was probably my biggest obsession of the month. I was very hesitant about this album at first, because the first 2 songs she released weren't my favorite. I should have known better though. The first releases off her albums are never my favorites, but I still end up loving everything else. I've been playing this album on repeat since I got it. I'd go as far as saying that it's probably one of her best, if not the best, album she's done so far. My favorite songs would be Cruel Summer, Lover, The Man, Paper Rings, and Death by a Thousand Cuts.
