I feel like I blinked and September was gone. I've been working a lot since I'm in the middle of interviewing every person in my company one-on-one for the second year in the row. It's a wonderful opportunity with awesome benefits, but it is hard on my introverted self. Only a few favorites made it into the mix this month.

Ettitude

I've been trying to find some really soft sheets since we received our new bed earlier this summer. However, I've been having difficulty finding ones that are immediately soft right out of the bag vs. ones that need to be washed a million times before they become comfortable. Ettitude sheets and duvet covers have been the perfect find. Right out of the bag, they feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. I've been very impressed and I've already placed a second order.

Daily Harvest

I typically do not have a lot of time to make any meal during a workday since I'm working through all of them. I'm always looking for food that is quick to make while also being healthy and delicious. I decided to try my first Daily Harvest order after seeing Carly Cristman recommend it in one of her videos. I placed my order for a variety of items. Although I didn't love everything, I did absolutely love the Tomato + Zucchini Minestrone Soup, Dragon Fruit + Lychee Smoothie, and the Spinach + Shiitake Grits Harvest Bowl. They were healthy, filling, and fast to make. They're an absolute lifesaver for busy days. My only complaint is that the delivery service they use do not ring the doorbell despite delivering a box that says 'Perishable' and 'Must be frozen' all over it. Very annoying.

Restoration Hardware Outlet

Restoration Hardware has some absolutely stunning home pieces that make me want to furnish my whole house with them, but their equally stunning prices keep me in check. Enter Restoration Hardware Outlets. I'm not really sure how they decide which pieces go to the outlet because I've found things in perfect condition for over 50% off their list price. Regardless, it's one of my favorite shops to go to. We've bought several bookcase units from them that are some of the most showstopper pieces in our home. Highly recommend checking out the outlets if you have one near you.

Veronica Mars

I basically binged on Veronica Mars all summer. I can't believe that I previously hadn't heard of this show before Hulu decided to bring it back. This show has an awesome cast and dialogue that brings both humor and depth equally. I was absolutely in love... until the last episode of the season that was just released. I won't spoil it, but I had been so impressed with the quality of the revived show and how they were able to bring back the vibe of the original seasons. Then they had to go and ruin it all in the last 5 minutes of the final episode. I was very upset, but I can't keep it off the favorites list just for those 5 minutes when everything else provided me with a whole summer of entertainment.

Spider Solitaire

When you work non-stop, you need something for your brain to zero in on and use it to turn off at the end of the day. For the longest time, my thing has been solitaire. Recently, however, I gave Spider Solitaire a shot, and now it's my new favorite. It's slightly different and I'm not a total master yet, so it's keeping the game interesting. Whether for regular solitaire or spider, my favorite app to play in is the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
